Why Work with Me

I prefer to work with clients long term. Most long-term clients of mine will know that I go to great lengths to keep my promises and can be relied upon to deliver quality service on time. And to keep silent about what I am supposed to keep silent about.

Background/Experience

I have been an active user of all three of my languages for most of my life. This gives me confidence that I can render content in these languages in a quality that is nearly or completely equal to native speakers of these languages.

Qualifications

Sworn translators’ professional qualification, MSc in Technical Informatics, MBA, MSc in Economics and Management

Skills and Expertise

I have also worked several years in elected leadership roles and also in a management position at a bilingual institution.

Achievements or Notable Projects

I have three master’s degrees (none of which is in translation), a decent amount of translation experience, an authorization from my home country’s government to certify translations to/from two other languages, a family (wife and two children) and what may be called a moderately good work-life balance.

Future Goals or Aspirations

I plan to continue developing both my translation-related skills and my business skills (and various other skills) with the hope of striking a good work-life balance in the long run.

Hobbies/Interests

I enjoy hiking and reading books. I am interested in various aspects of human health, in various fields of science and philosophy.
